Evee is homebred, registered with the Appaloosa Horse Club, enrolled on their Foundation Pedigree Designation programme at 100% FPD and within their Generation Advancement Program (GAP) level 5. She has an ApHC UK passport which is over stamped by BApS – Grade A. Also registered with the Foundation Appaloosa Association.
Evee’s genotype and phenotype are black (EE aa), she is heterozygous for the Leopard Complex Gene LP/lp and has not inherited the Pattern Gene and has become a varnish roan. Certified negative for PSSM1 – Polysaccharide Storage Myopathy, HERDA – Hereditary Equine Regional Dermal Asthenia, GBED – Glycogen Branching Enzyme Deficiency, HYPP – Equine Hyperkalemic Periodic Paralysis Disease, MH – Malignant Hyperthermia, Grey gene and Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC).

2019 – Revelation is born
2020 – Evee is artificially inseminated with fresh semen from our stallion DFR Patahas Redheart.
2021 – Evee gave birth to the black near leopard Redheart Ricochet
2022 – Evee gave birth to the black few spot Redheart Remembrance
2023 – Evee gave birth to the smoky black few spot Redheart Resolution
2024 – Evee has been artificially inseminated here at the Stud with fresh semen from DFR Patahas Redheart, we keep everything crossed for a safe pregnancy & delivery of a healthy foal that has been reserved in utero.

A look back at 7 years with Redheart Pascalius
Evee is our first homebred filly retained to enhance our bloodline breeding forward. Sibling to Ben, Reality and Rookie, Dam to Revelation and she’s by the same sire as Reus.
Evee spent her young stock days in the ring before being started. Built like a table, standing at 15.2hh she a very straight forward mare and has adapted to broodmare life exceptionally well.
With 62/62 Registered Appaloosas in her 6 generation pedigree, her dam Princesse Pascale has enriched her bloodlines with 8 horses listed on the ApHC Hall Of Fame – DOUBLE SIX DOMINO, JOKER B and RED EAGLE, PATCHY and SUNDANCE, BRIGHT EYES BROTHER, MIGHTY BRIGHT and PRINCE PLAUDIT whilst her sire KISS MY FINEST HEART has added another line of RED EAGLE, APACHE, PATCHY, SUNDANCE and APACHE II.
Evee is a fine example of Foundation Appaloosa breeding, producing the third generation of Redheart bloodlines here at the stud, she’s also a fine example of how an Appaloosa’s coat colour and pattern can change with the LP gene.
