Reus’s first progeny is born, see Redheart Reality.
Following in his Sire’s footsteps, as a yearling Redheart Reality won the In Hand Reserve Champion at Royal Windsor at his debut outing. At the ApHC UK National show, he won the Most Colourful UK and the USA  class and took Reserve Coloured Champion. Winning his age group classes under UK and USA and geldings, he took the Male Reserve Champion and finally completed his day with Reserve Champion Young-stock. His last show of 2018, BApS National, where he won all his classes and then took Reserve Champion Young-stock,  the Reserve Male Championship and Reserve Supreme Champion of the show. To carry on, the start of 2019 Reality has only improved winning his age group classes under UK and USA and geldings, he took the Male  Championship, Champion Young-stock and Supreme Champion of the ApHC UK Spring Show.

2018
Reus started the year gaining further education and learning the “Western Way” at Valley-View Ranch under Bruce Lawrence.
Competing early in the season in Western Classes, Reus achieved a few wins and placings in all his classes being Trials, Pleasure, Horsemanship, and Showmanship.
Later in the season, we competed in English Classes, Reus made the transition and again won and was placed in quite a few Novice, Intermediate and Open Classes.

Reus’s success in 2018 was rewarded with a certificate of recognition for Outstanding Achievement called a Register of Merit (ROM) award for WESTERN PLEASURE by the Appaloosa Horse Club UK.

2019
Having received a break during the winter months and quite a bit of time off during our foaling season, his light work has only increased recently, he is still unfit but fit enough to complete a show in the ring. Reus continues to improve his transition from Western to English. The first show in 2019 resulted in a win and a Reserve Ridden Championship at the ApHC UK Spring Show.
June – we attended the ApHC UK Appy Camp, we spend a day with Kirsty Whitfield, learning Horsemanship, Reus and I learned a lot!
July – Reus won the Small Hunter Class at Hanbury Countryside Show and qualified for Royal International Horse Show 2020 (RIHS).
August – We participated at the ApHC UK & BApS National Show, Reus successfully executed patterns and a jump!
Behind the scenes we are enjoying riding him out on the Malvern Hills and taking part a local flat work, pole work, cross-country and show jumping clinics.

2020 – COVID
2021
January – Ghost is confirmed pregnant to Reus by AI – Our first matting with this combination, we are very excited and hope for a filly to retain, our first FAHR registered foal from him.
February – PP is confirmed pregnant to Reus by AI – This will be a cracking foal if the full sibling Reality is anything to go by! We also wish to retain a filly.
ApHC UK National
Back to Western, In Hand USA FPD CHAMPION and great fun in the ring placed 1st in 5 Classes, 2nd in three Classes and 3rd in four Classes. We had a go at everything Western…Trail, Ranch Riding, Pleasure and Horsemanship. What an absolute star he was and being awarded the Three Times A Lady Trophy for Novice Rider Horsemanship was just the icing on the cake for us.
Oakridge Halloween Show
Carrying on with Western, we put our efforts into having a go at Reining. We have no idea what we are doing but we learn as we go…You can’t work full time, breed, show and ride full time, so we try our best at a little bit of everything. Reus and I were against the professionals, certainly a little fish in the sea but we had great fun and enjoyed the day. Reus did nothing wrong, he did everything I asked him to and we certainly learned a lot. We didn’t come last in every Class so that’s promising and I could not be more proud of my first homebred.

2022
February 26th Ghost safely delivers REDHEART REALISATION (aka Really) who found his 5* home with Veronika & Paul Redford in the Isle of Man.
March 21st PP delivered us our first red bag, quick action got REDHEART REPLICATION (aka Robyn) out which proved to us how important it is to watch your mares and take advantage of the foaling courses on offer at Stallion AI.  No matter how many foals you have delivered, NO foaling is the same!
Robyn found his 5* home with Andrea from Cressing, we couldn’t be happier.
Ghost is confirmed pregnant, we keep everything crossed for our Reus filly in 2023.

June – Horse Owners & Pony Exhibitors – H.O.P.E at Rugby
A few Classes in hand taking 1st & 2nd places to warm Reus before competing under saddle, we rode as “one”, Reus’s manners & performance were exceptional.
